Wire Mesh Partitions
#10 gauge 1 1/2" diamond WOVEN mesh
PANELS
Wire mesh: 10-gauge wire (.135) woven 1 1/2" diamond mesh pattern, triple crimped
Panels: Wire mesh is securely clinched and welded to channel framing around complete perimeter, and woven thru a center reinforcement channel bar for added support. Frame is mortised and tenoned at intersections. Bottom frame at 3" above bottom of panel to allow for sweep space.
TUBING AND POSTS
For maximized stability, each panel is attached to 2" x 2" tubing post (direct panel-to-panel connections are possible.) Tubing posts will fasten to the floor. The post top extensions will be supplied when necessary to anchor the posts to ceilings.
DOORS
Doors are fabricated from the same mesh as partitions and typically provided with transom above
Hinged doors: 1 1/4" x 1/2" channel frame with 1 1/4" x 1/4" cover plate on four sides, fast pin butt hinges, continuous 1 3/8" x 7/8" x 1/8" angle strike
HARDWARE
All hardware necessary for proper installation is provided. Includes: hex head bolts, nuts and screws for panel connections, 1/4" and 3/8" anchors for most floor and wall connections, wall clips, angle clips and floor angle base or base plates.
Panel Specifications
  • Vertical frames: 1 1/4" x 5/8" cold rolled "C" channel
  • Horizontal frames: 1" x 1/2" cold rolled "U" channel
  • Center reinforcing bar: Horizontal 1" x 1/2" cold rolled "U" channel bar with wire woven through at 3/8" from bottom of panel for 8' high panels, at 4/8" from bottom of panel for over 8' high panels.
All panels are manufactured to order, therefore panels can be made in any size increment (maximum: 6' wide up to 8' high; 5' wide up to 11' high. Taller structures to be double deck.)
Panel options include (but are not limited to):
  • Raked panels to accommodate pitched ceilings, stairways and other configurations
  • Predefined cut outs can be factory cut and framed (or cut outs can be made in the field with a cutout kit)
  • Sheet metal base welded to lower portion of panels and doors
Posts & Structural Components
  • Line Posts: 2" x 2" tubing post
  • Corner Posts: 2" x 2" tubing post
  • Three-way Posts: 2" x 2" tubing post
  • Top Capping Channel Bar: 2 1/2" x 3/4" cold rolled channel with 1/4" U-bolt approximately 18" o.c.
Door Options
  • Sliding doors: 1 1/2" x 3/4" channel frame with cover plate on four sides, two 4-wheel ball bearing trolleys hung in an enclosed box track, slide door strike keeper and bottom door guide
  • Dutch doors and service windows also available (same specs as doors)
Doors are manufactured to order, therefore can be made in any size increment (standard height is 7' plus transom).
Locks:
Standard options are
  1. MARKSUSA W3700/W3800 mortise lockset operated by key outside and recessed knob inside
  1. Padlock lug and hasp on jamb

FINISHES
  • Phosphate washed then powder coated finish in grey or black
